so many tickets are going on the exchange IMO because having a season ticket now basically requires a 4 day commitment to go to games now. People are not prepared to do that so they buy a ticket on the proviso that it is likely to be "sat" but i'll write off the odd game here and there if I can...

However taking away from privatisation does not fix the issue of chronic lack of investment that has been made and the continual argument of how it gets funded.
Are the ultimate " judges" of their performance not the shareholders ? The government might not like it, but that' up to them to put in place regulations for the companies to abide by and be accountable to? - They've done this and made a profit? - I'd say that's pretty solid performance...

I agree with you about the switching part.. however I don't know the full logistics to be able to comment either way....
I can only assume its cheaper to run because some places have more water in some areas than others.. Water isn't same as Gas or electricity..
