[Albion] Graham Potter joins on four-year deal

Are we getting a new team now too?

    [Football] Spurs, Champions League

Liverpool didn't play as well in their game. They were poor in the first half and could have easily conceded despite getting ahead. That said, Barcelona were also poorer than Ajax on the night. Tottenham played well in both halves despite conceding two goals in the first half.

[Albion] Manchester United will be 3rd!!

I had another of my funny turns and found out that Manchester United will easily be in the Champions League next season!! Tottenham will lose again against Everton. Arsenal and Chelsea have hard games too. It's not as if it's possible that they can get less than 71 points in any case. Wonder...

[Albion] Percy Tau - SIGNED on a 4 year deal - The Lion Returns. RRROOOAAAARRRRR

So Tony Bloom is majority shareholder? Well Tau has been involved in a third of their goals so not bad. The team only finished 6th last season (only 8 in the league) and were close to the top two this time. Tau hasn't always been up front either in the team when you look at the playing stats...

[Albion] Percy Tau - SIGNED on a 4 year deal - The Lion Returns. RRROOOAAAARRRRR

https://www.iol.co.za/sport/opinion/percy-tau-is-on-course-to-surpass-sa-legends-20267616 "Tau is the real deal. Here’s why: What makes Tau special is his ability to read the game, his speed, his confidence, his aggression, his finishing prowess. And then there is the fact that he loves high...

[Albion] Percy Tau - SIGNED on a 4 year deal - The Lion Returns. RRROOOAAAARRRRR

Ian Wright says he's brilliant...… so what's happening with him then? "Look at Percy, I’ve seen him. You can’t tell me Percy cannot play at Brighton. He’s good, brilliant... a good footballer, man! You have to judge people on their abilities," Wright told Sport24...

    [Albion] Hughton supporters

We were actually unlucky in Jan. Remember being 2-0 up late on away and letting West Ham come back and also being 2-0 up at Fulham. Even after the Fulham loss we should have beat Watford as they had to make loads of saves in the 0-0 and had five shots none on target while we had 21 shots and 4...

    [Albion] Hughton supporters

OK this is the final say in the matter. Chris Hughton couldn't have done any better with the squad we have. Some of our new attacking players are pretty good but will only show their worth next season. Everybody is forgetting how the season started pretty well and we were unlucky not to get more...

    [Albion] Hughton supporters

Have you seen the value of our squad? Dunk and Duffy are the most valuable along with Jahanbakhsh and Bissouma but they are only around £15million give or take....I might have missed some but the rest would be lucky to get half of that. Seems like we have overperformed - compare to Fulham and...

[Albion] Interesting dynamic with the results today for the relegation fight...

It seems that for the last two games, Hughton has to consider whether he goes for two more draws or try for a win. You can already guess which he will go for. He already mentioned getting 'something' from the Arsenal game. I think a loss is highly likely in the next two games so his strategy...

    [Football] Women's Football - Discuss

Seeing the BBC website with more stories about the Women's league than I previously noticed. Commentators and story writers seem to get overexcited about things they would usually not be so complimentary about.

[Albion] Man U v Cardiff last game of the season...

Are you sure about what you wrote? That I'm the crazy one? Palace just beat Arsenal and despite only 8 points in their first 12 games they now have 42 points (34 in 23 games, i.e they would have been top of the 'rest' below the top 6 on that form with around 50 points now - we still beat them...

[Albion] Man U v Cardiff last game of the season...

I think we are already safe.... Cardiff need two results out of three (at least one of those a win) to even get to above 34 points.... Fulham are on a hattrick of wins and even beat Everton 2-0 at home.... can't see Manchester United dropping any points either. Crystal Palace just beat Arsenal...

[Albion] We are gonna finish on 42 Points!!!

They are still grey and mushy when new so I stand by my claircognizance (at least you learnt a new word with this post). Of course, if there is a slight deviation or error then we know where the blame rests.
