I don't know much about Matt Ryan.
I saw him a few years ago play for Australia and look good, but he only played 10 times in his first season at Valencia. In the second he only played twice and was then loaned out to Genk, why is he costing a club record amount???
No idea how the CBs are getting such high ratings...?
An 18-year-old caused them quite a lot of problems and on two different occasions should have scored. They weren't bad, but 9/10 rating? That's high praise in a game which Villa dominated!
Hi guys...
I'm a former season ticket holder, from 2009-2015, through both the Withdean and the Amex.
I decided to go to university in California, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I'm back in Brighton for the next two weeks.
Obviously, I'm desperate to go to the Newcastle game!
Is it...
Jim's show is exactly that, all about football. It is very Premier League heavy but he's made a real effort to chase up stories about Charlton and Coventry in recent weeks - something we could have done with when going through a similar situation.
There is no doubt that there is little talk...
Collymore isn't relevant anymore. He can't deal with the new, informed breed of pundit. He shouts and looks for a reaction, but it doesn't work like that these days.
He was binned by talkSPORT. He tried to claim it was his decision, because News UK bought their parent company, the Wireless...
Nothing infuriates me more than when people go on a gap yeah with no plan.
So you've delayed your studies for a year? Presumably know what you're doing at uni? Then why not get some work experience or a job for your chosen field?
If not, at least go travelling and broaden your horizons...
No idea why Naylor etc haven't reported it but Stephens has put in a transfer request, as reported above. Wants to go to Hull as doesn't think he'll make the Premier League with us. Also as said above - had all bloody summer...
I've previously said we should go for him or Alan Judge (who incidentally seems to be going to Newcastle). Great player, brimming with confidence and can play that role just behind the main striker. Exactly the type of number 10 we should be looking at.
Would love this to happen. A truly natural goalscorer, but he's in the same form as Hemed and Murray. We need a small striker, who can play number 10, to rival Baldock. It's all well and good having strength in depth but we will run the risk of becoming predictable in attack.
As already mentioned on this thread, what times are the trains meant to be running this week? It says a limited service, but I can't find anywhere where it is stipulated which of the timetabled trains are going to be running.
If anyone can help it would be much appreciated!
Now you say that, it does ring a bell! Shame. I'd be surprised if we signed a striker like Vydra or Wells, I think Hughton is happy with Baldock but would like a number 10 to give us another option.
If we were prepared to pay up to £8m for Alex Pritchard, I would like to think we would be able to afford Alan Judge. In his prime at 27, was in the team of the season and would be able to play just off the striker. Another option could be Bradley Dack from Gillingham, who we've been linked with...
