Absolutely. I've only ever had iPhones as my smartphone of choice. Great phones, but once my contract is up for renewal - I'll be dumping them for the Nexus. Just had enough of their "premium" pricing policy.

Disagree. Aus/NZ hostels are quality...in some cases better than your premier inns or travelodges in this country

...and as others say, Aus is EXPENSIVE. Try to balance and make your savings in Asia, where if you love frugally you'll get by on very little.

My partner and I returned from 4 1/2 months travelling this time last year. 1 month in India, 6 weeks in Aus/NZ and the rest across Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Bali, Singapore, Malaysia. Budgeted £5k each, spent nearer to £6k each all in including flights.

All a bit 'black mirror' for me...
