Edendum - Menu Refresh
Went to Edendum (Italian restaurant) on East Street recently and was pretty impressed with the freshen up of the menu.
All high quality ingredients sourced from Italy and owners are really passionate foodies.
Had the burrata with pea puree, red oranges & balsamic and it...
Hot off the press... Michael Bremner (of 64 Degrees) to open a second restaurant close to the i360

Cafe Malbec | Argentine Wine Bar & Deli
Cafe Malbec
A new addition to Hove, which opened at the start of the year and is just finding its feet. It's positioned itself as a wine bar, cafe AND deli (covering all bases) and is the sister to Latino America (which I'm a big fan of).
The empanadas...
BeFries - Belgian Fries
So it's not exactly a restaurant but it's definitely worthy of a visit... BeFries on West Street. I know, I know, West Street is not exactly a foodie destination but hold judgement until you've been.
There are two lovely guys running this place, both really passionate...
Has anyone tried the new Curry Leaf restaurant in Kemptown yet? There's a little bit about it's opening on the blog here: http://foodieeshe.com/curry-leaf-cafe-kemptown-kitchen/
Although I've not had chance to get down there myself.
Went to the brand new Caribbean restaurant - Bus Stop at the weekend and thought it was pretty good.

Go for Danny's Pork Chop if you try it out - it's huge and tastes unbelievable.
Summary: Good value for money...
As we've talked a lot about fast food (burgers and pizza) of late, you may be interested in another takeaway spot that's new to town: Noo Noodles - offering build your own noodles by chuchill square. It has a high recommendation from me as it's tasty, fast and a fair price for a filling...
Cin Cin - New Restaurant
Just a heads up that there's a new Italian opening tomorrow on Vine Street in the North Laine (round the corner from Bills) - it's called CIN CIN.
More of a bar with an open kitchen, than a fully-fledged restaurant but from what I tried at the press night on Friday it...
Hi Bozza,
Thanks for reading my review.
Interestingly, Troll Burger sources locally and its burgers are under £10, so I don't think the price tag is justified personally.
The chips weren't that special, just like McDonald's as I mentioned in the review, so I'm really paying £20 for the...
Word of warning, I went to the new i360 restaurant - Belle Vue 2 weeks ago and was hugely disappointed and I would definitely not go back.
The decor looks like a work canteen, very sterile and cold as the electric doors blast freezing cold air into the building every time anyone walks past...
I really don't recommend NuPosto - been several times and the pizza was cold - despite being sat feet away from the pizza oven! I would go for Fatto A Mano or VIP (although VIP can be hard to get a table on the weekend).
Isaac At is very good, I've been twice and I would recommend it. My first visit was a year ago, my second time about a month ago.
Warm and friendly atmosphere and very attentive service.
Food is really creative with 7 courses (not just the 5 as advertised) on the tasting menu (£47).
I did...
The Connaught has gone down hill recently - used to be very good which is a shame.
My top 3 places for a roast are: The Jolly Poacher, Flank and The Market.
At The Market plates are piled high not just with trimmings but gorgeous chunky carvings of meat too. My beef was perfectly rare and my...
Such great opporunity to try out some of the best restaurants in the city, although with all the PR of it I imagine seats will get booked up quick! Might be easier at lunchtimes...
The guys behind OctoberBEST invited me on a "grub crawl" of 3 of the restaurants involved (Bincho, The Set and the...
Agree about Azaro it is good and I love the fact that they have a female chef. Service is a little slow at times, but both the owners are very passionate about what they do and looking after their customers. Pics and full write up on my blog if you want to know anymore...
Hi Guys,
Just a few recommendations from me:
MAW - It's a fine dining pop-up restaurant in The Lanes, Brighton Square. Just here for just a couple more weeks I believe and really worth the £45pp price tag. The set menu feels equal to that of Isaac At over on Gloucester Road. Photos and details...
