I'm with you on Coventry. Ghastly place. I used to live in Leamington Spa and frequented Coventry far too many times for my liking. Ghastly ringroad, rubbish shopping centre and crappy football team. Nothing to recommend the place at all!!!

With a couple of exceptions, this thread reads like a shit tour of England. There must be a travel book in this.... Oh and i'd like to add Yeovil, Newport Pagnell and Hertfordshire( Hertford especially)

Absurd decision. I know we're not supposed to contravene traffic laws but surely a little common sense wouldn't go amiss in this situation?

Do not pay Smart Parking. They harassed me for about 8 months because i'd overstayed my time limit at Asda/Marina. I was having engine trouble and couldn't get out of the car park until 11 minutes after my time expired. I explained this to them but they refused to back down. So i dug my heels...
