My 20% Trainline discount for West Ham away did in fact work for multiple returns to Manchester. Unfortunately since then they seem to have tidied up the process and now the discount code only appears to work for stations near to the specific match location. Shame.

Almost certainly you were on the Betfair Sportsbook. You need to be on the Betfair Exchange to get better value (generally).
