He lost his temper with and was rude to the press when he needs them on his side. He has anger management issues and had similar form with us. It looks like he will never learn or be able to control his emotions. And no, I don't hate him and find talk of hate childish.
Beat me to it and good to see. Hopefully some who perpetuate that myth (including on NSC) will see this as it still rears its head despite plenty of evidence to the contrary. And @ Dick Swiveller thanks for sharing a fantastic collection!
He lost his temper more or less all through and was aggressive, dismissive and short towards the reporters. He only just stopped himself in time from swearing and decided to make a sarcastic comment about that and them. He had form with us for that kind of thing and lost a lot of goodwill yet...
Don't know about a cry, but if he has a cat, it had better get out of the way of him. There's a dark side to him that we saw when he was with us. The rage including at questioners doing their job was scary at many points. And no, I don't hate him. I have all the respect for him that he has for us.
Living abroad, I can only watch on TV when not in the UK. I ended up turning off the TV near the end of the last THREE matches totally deflated and knowing what the outcomes would be. I don't recall doing this once before. As the season lurches to its end, the sooner it's over, the better as...
Many years ago, I was walking along Brighton seafront enjoying some cockles until a friend likened them to bogies. Never eaten them since. Cockles, that is. And bogies.
Parsnips can do one and take turnips and swedes with them. As for custard: one of the most disgusting examples of British 'food' there is. Looks and tastes like yellow puke. Rhubarb crumble and rhubarb and ginger jam on the other hand, yes, please.
Tottenham in my teens. Glory hunter after they achieved the league and FA Cup double plus boyhood hero Jimmy Greaves. Father working for the railway and very cheap tickets from Haywards Heath helped. The beginning of the change was when Bobby Smith came to us.
The game I saw wasn't even maybe because I was watching on TV. The other lot were better than us by quite a long way except during the second half of extra time.
