From The Guardian's '10 Talking Points from the Weekend's Action':
2) Hughton’s complaining misses the point
Cardiff have made a miserable start to the season, and are second favourites to go down. Yet, after Brighton lost against them, Chris Hughton decided that what he really needed to do...
This seems about right to me although I think we might finish a couple of places higher than the Guardian thinks:

My first go at this kind of thing, so probably crap and not at all original. But we need a CH song......
Who's that man who's on the touchline?
Who's that man we all adore?
Chrissy Hughton is his name
and he's leading us to fame
and we won't mention Sami anymore
Another reason to be glad we have Uncle Tony.........

I know we all really want Barcer OUT but.....
Thinking back over the season it's noticeable how Barber has kept a low profile. last season when we were bad BArber took a lot of the flak in public to protect the players - this season he is keeping out of the way so the players get the praise...
Noticed today that the pitch has been narrowed by about a yard down each side. Guess this is to give opposing wingers less space to exploit with Calderon?
Might just have been my ears but on Saturday was Sussex by the Sea sung more loudly than usual and with the right words from everyone (no der-dee-der)?
Lots of reasons to feel close to the Albion community today, but just want to highlight something from yesterday. At the end of the prematch warm up Rosenior stayed out and had a kick about with two of the ball boys in front of the east stand. They looked chuffed to bits. Respect to you Liam.
Have we found out why they were both at the Forest game? Oscar seems to have come to the UK specially for it, so it must have been either important work or a great party
We know Sami likes to rotate the loanees. We also know he needs to replace Bruno. So I reckon- Gardner for Bruno with JFC pushed deeper after success playing more forward yesterday. Bent rotated, E. Bennett back in.
can't put in a link for some reason but good interview with Eddie Howe in Guardian's sport section today. Great and reassuring quotation from SH right at the end - and yes I'm being ironic. Turns out our players just aren't intelligent enough for the system.
interesting read in the guardian. Puts the demands for more money to be spent in context - but also says a lot about SH:
