I just hope people remember who is behind his leaving so abruptly. Brave man to stand up and be counted. They always used to beat him with the stick of his salary as if he was somehow to blame for that! Won’t be quite the same without him but life goes on, for most of us.
Credit where it’s due, we went into yesterdays game with no recognised centre forward, to much incredulity on here, and came away with a 1 - 4 scoreline. Not sure even my hero RDZ could have come up with that.
I can’t speak for others but I still say the football under RDZ was the most exciting I have ever seen. Perhaps others feel the same way so hence the bias?
Might be an idea to loan Watson back to Sunderland for next season. There’s a bond there and he won’t be playing against us! A year of Premier League football which he probably wouldn’t get here. just a thought.
Top clubs will want him. His age for one thing. Experience in Premier League. He works his socks off along with Danny and Gino which is why we have done well. Also why Evan can’t get in the side. How much they will pay is another matter but we trust Tony to get the right price, of course.
i can understand why people feel like that about Real Madrid but most footballers, especially South American, would give their right bollock to play there. That’s why I would be pleased for him.
Shouldn’t they be declaring? That must be enough runs and it’s a 4 day match I would have thought they might like to have a pop. They can’t need batting practice that much shirley.
Well I found the game quite exciting, in a neutral way, but no-one will remember that fairly soon. I am thinking that Wigan Athletic won the FA Cup but have no idea what the game was like. This will be the same.
Will be watching with my Spurs SiL. I am not comfortable watching grown men cry but will try to be kind. that’s the kind of guy I am. :ROFLMAO:
Btw he is not confident at all.
Take your point but excuse me for being an old git but it always intrigued me that in the 70’s building up to our promotion to the First Division the Goldstone seemed to have many attendances of 30,000 + yet when we reached the promised land I don’t think that happened very often. Maybe we get...
