So, you are having a fish and chip dinner....what are you ordering? and where are you getting it from?
For me it's haddock, cod or scampi - and I prefer it breaded - with chips and mushy peas....with lots of ketchup & tartare sauce....
But it's all supermarket bought, as the chip shop version...
Mine are a disgrace to society. A typical day is spent sitting on their backsides, watching Jeremy Kyle and breeding (there are 4 children and one more on the way) and playing loud music at whatever time of the day. Wouldn't be surprised if they'd never done a day's work in their lives. They...
He's not having his contract renewed by ITV.....and neither is presenter Matt Smith.
I wonder who the replacements will be? Jimmy Bullard? Gazza? Neil Ruddock?
ITV football coverage has been shocking for a long time, so no big surprises that they are having a revamp.
I realised today that I always use NSC for info - for example: tickets info for the Arsenal game. Would only use the official club site to book tickets.
Where do you get all your club info on signings, transfer rumours, travel etc from??
What did we do pre-internet?? Was the Argus the sole...
Do you do secret santa in your office? What's the best/worst thing you've ever received?
I've been drawn a Crystal Palace fan in our office.....:ffsparr:
This person is not my boss, but he is more senior.....
I am considering relocating up that way to have a slightly shorter work commute, and it seems to be the best value for money....
I know it has a horrible reputation, but surely there is somewhere decent to live there?
Is it okay to quite enjoy the fact that Southampton are having such a good season....considering they were tipped to go down when Liverpool bought all their players at the start of the season. Southampton certainly are great at regeneration....
I've succumbed to the common cold, ideally i'd like my head to explode so I can get rid of the sinus pressure. Therefore my seat will be empty today....
What's your excuse?
Looks like a good line-up tonight on C4, in particular the Googlebox segments.
....cancer has taken another relative of mine in the last few weeks, so very happy to support this tonight.
For those for whom driving the majority of the way is the only possibility....any reasonably close places to park that don't charge a fortune? Would consider parking a little further out, with a fairly easy rail connection.
In anticipation of responses....the train/tube/coaches for the full...
My vote is for the New England Quarter Sainsburys. Only my second time in there, but oh my what a depressing place to shop. Service with a smile is well and truly not the message in there.
Seriously.
Boring topics, tedious corporate powerpoint presentation....8 hours of staring at a projector screen, with a presenter that thought he was hilarious, was broadly racist and completely non interactive.
:shootself
Your experiences?
Ok it's that time of the year again....the posters are up!
What are you doing for yours? Do you avoid it at all costs? Any shameful stories?
They always used to be so much fun, but now i'm older and hold down a more responsible job, they tend to be painful.
I find Food for Friends too overpriced....but not been in for years.
Where else is good in Brighton and Hove for Veggie (not necessarily exclusively) food? I would like to branch out a bit.
I know far too many Brighton born Spurs fans, and seen so many comments that look like this, appear on FB and Twitter overnight :
'oh cool, Spurs v Brighton. Wish it was at the Amex though, cause then I would go and watch it.'
I know at least 4 who have never even been to North...
Get away with absolutely anything....literally all their mistakes however HUGE either go completely unnoticed by your boss, swept under the carpet or laughed off. Talk to people like shit, if they can be bothered at all....but this is merely seen as 'their quirky little way'.
They are also the...
...are getting much more sophisticated these days...
I've noticed it this summer, but loads seem to be chalking the pavements with street art, and some even scrawl thoughtful & positive poems on the pavements. Gone are the days of just sitting in a doorway in your sleeping bag, begging. Not in...
Until the 70th minute when the crowd sort of woke up....or maybe that's cause the action was up at my end at the time.
Barely heard any songs...unenthusiastic clapping...and many areas of the stadium that were as quiet as the Seasiders.
Is it just because we were being bored to tears by the...
