Fantastic singer as well. I wonder if Donald will get him back for his inauguration.

Give us a clue? Kate Winslet?

    [Misc] Modern life

Porn is going to go next level. I tried one of the meta headsets (for purely research purposes), and it's scary. I was thinking about dating apps the other day. I wonder what the increase has been in sexual partners (for both men and women) since the introduction of dating apps. It's got to...

    [Other Sport] Borthwick OUT

Also, why do the forwards always look like nightclub bouncers? Fat, bald, and look like they're 50 despite being 23! You don't see that in football.

    [Other Sport] Borthwick OUT

Every time I watch rugby, I understand why football is the most-watched game in the world. I'm not sure if it's England-specific, with Tarquin and Hugo singing the dull "swing low, sweet chariot," but I think it's a game that will continue to fade here vs Australia, NZ, South Africa, etc.

    [Food] Xmas Dinner at Spoons

In fairness, would you need to let them know in advance? It's the kind of thing you'd see on that show "don't tell the bride" The fella has spunked all his money on strippers, coke, and paying off his Littlewoods 87% APR account so he's only left with 500 quid for a slap-up meal at spoons and a...

[Politics] Bouncing back: Any other examples of trying to think positively about the change to come?

"What would the UK example of this be?" That the international break is almost over.

    [Food] Xmas Dinner at Spoons

I'm surprised they're bothering with this. Didn't they used to serve a Sunday roast but stopped it years ago to focus on their Michelin star core menu?

Was this after the merger of the Swindon & Reading branches?

[Football] Sir Gary Lineker - 25 years at the MotD helm

I don't mind him as a presenter, but I've had 3 or 4 separate people say he's a complete pest with the ladies. This was maybe 15 years ago mind! I remember the exchange below with the very credible and likable Joey Barton. Gary did go a bit quiet after it though...... I

Sergio Aguero Shows Respect-Take Note James Mclean

I agree with your first point. The second is a bit more tricky as it's not the same IRA you referenced in your quote. Since the Good Friday Agreement, there's been a number of spin-offs including RIRA and now the New IRA etc. and none of them involve the same people or resemble the original IRA.

[Misc] Kemi Badenoch confirmed as new Tory leader

Big loss for everyone. Jenrick was planning on bringing Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg back as party chairman.

I thought he was universally known as Jeremy C*nt for a reason?

    [Politics] Donald Trump, US President

I wouldn’t call this a considered opinion at all. The US is huge and each state is very different. You can’t compare Massachusetts to Alabama. I’d expect a geography student to have a better understanding of that.

[Misc] Weight loss jabs - Mounjaro, Wegovy etc.

This is very true! I was always in the camp that if you eat less, exercise more, then with a good calorie deficiency, you'll guarantee to lose weight. My view has changed. I know enough people who do the above and eat a very balanced diet but just can't lose weight. So much comes down to...

[Misc] Weight loss jabs - Mounjaro, Wegovy etc.

I'm based in the US, where it's been used for a while. Anyone I know who has used it with exercise and healthy eating has got excellent results. A friend dropped 40 lbs in a few months. Side effects seem to depend on the person. As you increase the dosage week by week, side effects like nausea...

[Politics] How would you vote in a referendum to legalise cannabis in the UK?

Would you say we have an issue with illegal hooch in the UK other than in prisons, where alcohol is forbidden? I've never walked into Tesco and thought I'd really like something with more alcohol content than they're selling. I certainly wouldn't then walk out and buy illegal hooch at a higher...

[Politics] How would you vote in a referendum to legalise cannabis in the UK?

Definitely not eliminated, but I live in a state where it's legal for medical and recreational, and you don't see many people looking for a weed dealer. They actually did an excellent job of getting the dispensary licenses in the hands of those from minority backgrounds. My local dispensary is...
