Back in the early days of Sky (I think) there was a regular round-table discussion on football by journalists, hosted I recall by the late Brian Woolnough(?), and it was far more informative than 90% of the ex-footballer punditry
It's probably been said further up the thread but people like Barton (and Lawrence Fox etc) just hate the idea of a level playing field because they will lose the jobs they didn't really have the talent for but got because 'white male'. More competition equals less work for the mediocre but...
Those scores are bizarrely low for a team that narrowly lost away to the best team in the country and who matched them on xG.
And they make it sound like March played left back ahead of a host of other options.
