I want to go to Yorkshire now, it look absolutely beautiful and those climbs look fun.
Fortunately for me I am heading up to Durham for 6 weeks this summer so was wondering whether anyone had any experience of cycling in that neck of the woods and could provide any inspiration for some...
I currently have them too, before the Aussies step in later, it's watching like before they had transponders or loads of mobile cameras I imagine.
Some days, when the legs feel good and the sun is shining I can't think of anything better than riding my bike, but days like today in Italy...
Yeah, if they could keep the snow off the camera lenses it would be a start!
It's days like this that I think how utterly miserable it must be to be a pro cyclist sometimes.
I hope that today is the best day of racing of the year and I think it might be so I'm already watching!
As I don't have Eurosport etc I'm watching an Australian stream which is pretty easy to use and OK commentary wise. If you have chrome or firefox download the extension called Hola Better...
Cracking TTT there! I hope it's a sign of an interesting Giro to come.
I always love the Giro, such varied Parcours, extremes of weather and full on racing. Just a shame there aren't one or two more strong teams there really pushing for the GC.
Dai Rigo.
Technically it already is one, but the new facilities will certainly revolutionise the teaching that BSMS currently provides.
I can't wait till it's been built :)
If this is referring to my ride yesterday (I did manage a cat 2 climb) then I feel honored to have got a mention. BUT I must hasten to add that although i did complete the climb I was most definitely in granny gear on my triple from bottom to top!
That said if anyone fancies some fairly...
Hi there. I can't wait to get my album started!
I see you're got some stickers for sale. Could I grab the 12 packets for a £5 deal off you?
I'll be at the Charlton game on Saturday, just wondering if you will be?
Cheers :)
This thread has been an interesting read on a subject that clearly divides opinion rather sharply.
People who say that cannabis should be legalised because "I know loads of people that use it and they are fine" are making the mistake of thinking that because in your experience there is no...
Hi
I think I've already done the survey before but am happy to be involved more. I am also at Sussex Uni so feel free to PM me and I will help if I can :)
I'm pretty happy with 3rd overall, just nipping in there on the last stage. :)
Although my purist team wasn't such a success, maybe I'll just stick to the classic league from now on....
I agree, I would personally like the full competition, however as my only win of the season came in a race that everyone else forgot about in the late season I guess I profited from the staleness! I just need to get my early season form up to scratch!
Well I need to get out cycling more before I can justify a new jersey anyway! But I will have a look next time i'm in the club shop to see what the official one is like.
On a different note, I am wondering when Fantasy Cycling opens up again for next season? Are people thinking of only having a...
I think these two are the best so far. I would most seriously consider a jersey after narrowly missing out on a Stat Bro cap! If you decided to get them made that is.....
"Road tax doesn't exist. It's car tax, a tax on cars and other vehicles, not a tax on roads or a fee to use them. Motorists do not pay directly for the roads. Roads are paid for via general and local taxation. In 1926, Winston Churchill started the process to abolish road tax. It was finally...
I fully agree that someone with a serious medical condition like yourself shouldn't have to cycle. It is unrealistic and unfair. However the point being made is not that "everyone" should cycle or use the bus but that those who have the option (Don't worry, you aren't included in the category)...
Exactly the point that many of us have been making.
I personally think the problem is with local residents not realising that there are better ways to travel into town and resorting to using their cars. However if you live or work in a place that doesn't easily have train or bus links to...
