The Thames clipper is great, they do a shuttle service from LB to the Wharf. Less crowds, cracking views but a tad more expense. I used to work there, used the clippers for about a year- they were very reliable.

Hassocks has been shafted, the service is awful. Coming back from London Vic there are 5 trains to Hassocks between 3pm & 6pm- Burgess Hill has 9, nearly twice as much. Considering driving to Burgess Hill.....
