Clearly didn't give a shit about? And what backs that up? Most of your fans were jumping around like lunatics when you scored your second. If you were playing Man Utd etc, are you sure you wouldn't be the same in our position?
Sovereigns is a good pub to stop in on route to the ground. From here to the ground -walk out of the pub and carry on walking down the road (the opposite to where you came from) you'll eventually come to some newish flats, one with a cul-de-sac heading straight and the main road veering off to...
Leave your flares at home ladies. Don't want you taking the spotlight off us ;) Should be a good game. On the subject of ticket numbers, this could be true in terms of you guys being given a half used raffle book ;) I've seen the tickets for the home ends and they're unbelievably tinpot.
Should be fine Southwick, although can never tell with these "big games". Any idea which pub it is?
On the parking front, as Ben said there's parking opposite and parking in the local streets. There's also the Heathside Car Park as suggested on our website, which is about a 10 minute walk...
To answer some of your questions, Woking isn't as bad as made out. I've been to worse believe me. On the town side of the station (Exit at platform 1) there are a host of pubs including the Station House, Yates', O'Neills & Wetherspoons all within a minute of each other. If you're after food...
Gosden Stand ..... the big seater behind the goal
Family Stand ......... One of two shed type things behind the dugout
Directors' Stand ..... Ditto
Kingfield Road Stand / Moaners' Corner ..... Kingfield Road Stand is the terrace behind the other goal and Moaners corner is situated between...
@The Complete Badger.
We know we're a tinpot club. Why do you think we're in the Conference South? LOL. But this is the same tinpot team that drew to your "reserves". Hmmm?
On the upside, I had a fantastic day yesterday and am really glad we were moved to the family stands. The away stand...
Was about to make my own thread on here, but to save spamming you I'll write here. What are the buses like back to the station after the game? I've looked on the bus website, but only know of the 27 (the bus I caught last time I was down using the park and ride). Is it likely to be crowded due...
There have been reports that we're being put in your family stand. Any truth in this? Just a few people who already have tickets say they have west stand tickets.
Cheers.
Laurence Batty is long gone! I've heard Preston Park is shut next Saturday - so bus replacement anyway if going to PP. Apparently train wise we either go via Havant or Lewes. Thanks for help guys. And I loved The Lanes last time I visited if that's where the quirky shops are!
Few questions ahead of our cup final next Saturday. Any decent pubs in the area? Ones to watch out for? Also heard that apparently the Bus is free if you have a match ticket. Any truth in this? If not, are cabs pretty cheap? Cheers.
