Yes, Hassocks 6 a side I think started in 1961. I played in it a few times in the mid to late 1960's for Hurstpierpoint, when there were teams from outside the County, including London. I never progressed very far, only once getting beyond the group stage. I have no idea if it is still continuing.
I think, with supposed head injuries the player should have to go off to be assessed and a substitution made, either temporary or permanent. This would, hopefully stop 'pretend' head trauma.
Society on a whole will presumably be split on the use of imperial or metric based on their schooling. I believe after decimilisation, schools switched to teaching metric measurements. Therefore oldies like me understand imperial much better whereas youngster whose education started in the1970's...
I am almost certain there will be changes but I don't see that as a problem as our squad now has a very good depth and amendments will not weaken the side. COYS
The commentator keeps saying that Jack Hinshelwood's goal was his second senior goal. I am sure I remember a headed goal and a shot that he has scored before today, although I can't think which games.
