This is the thread I've been waiting for! Early 90s, the opposition wore red and black and there was a guy playing for them who looked like Wolf from Gladiators. That's pretty much all I can remember. Any ideas who that team would have been?

Long time listener, first time caller. I can't believe this is the issue that's prompted me to post. What our friend mistakenly believes to be the common use of 'of', is actually the contracted form of 'have', 've'. As in, 'I would've'. Sounds a bit like 'I would of' when you speak, but...
