Monday to Friday done 40ish houses, Saturday would come and would need two bags. Bike packed up after 6months of doing it so ended up walking my round and never got my bike sorted. Done it for 3 years.
Also had a Sunday round for 2 of those years for another shop until it closed, that round was...
They are indeed a game changer, love wearing mine around the house or if picking up or dropping kids somewhere in the car. Only time I wear them out is if to run (not literally) over to the garage which is 5mins away to get something like milk.
But to wear around the food shop or to go to town...
Small world, I’m in Sudbury too. There’s a few of us here, seen a bloke wearing a Brighton coat and again wearing a hat around town, and met another bloke in the gym down the Kingfisher couple years back.
I always remember daft things nowadays like an away game at Cambridge, must have been 94 or 95, in the warm up Mark Ormerod fired a shot into the crowd when warming up Nicky Rust that hit an elderly lady, Malcolm Stuart jumped over the advertising boards to attend to her, Liam Brady and Gerry...
Remember that one, Golden Goal Extra Time goal as well, but seem to recall there being at least 300 and some decent noise was made. Was starting to worry how I was going to get home by train afterwards if it went on much longer.
Too true sadly, I was in N1E on Saturday and plenty around me speaking the chants but not shouting/singing the chants with full gusto, I don’t understand it at all.
Was better perhaps than some, but still not what it could/should be.
You’ve got no fans. You want some?
The mighty U’s should have won last night, had it not been for some woeful finishing, but then Hawks did have a couple good opportunities too.
For those who have never tried non league should definitely give it a go, beer while you watch, what’s not to love...
If anyone has a mint copy of our games v Ipswich 90/91 and Bradford 94/95 seasons (both last game of the season) let me know as I know someone looking for them.
I think it’s a fantastic idea from Moshe Gariani and something needs to be done as the atmosphere is piss poor bar the odd game here and there.
As others have said and from when I was young, it was always a case of you only stood on the North Stand if you was going to vocally get behind the...
Haha, even had my son with me who was 15 at the time, was en route to see family in Abbeywood, I might have been wearing a Stone Island jumper though so can sort of see what the bouncer was saying. Opened up my wallet and everything saying look no tickets, was saying I’m a Brighton fan and we...
That’s a good pub, think has Estrella on tap as well IIRC. Of course there is Hamilton Hall next to Liverpool Street or the White Hart around the corner from there but will probably be full of Hammers.
Wouldn’t bother with the Barrow Boy, went to go in last season and they said no football fans, remonstrated saying I’m not going to any games, but they said I look like I’m going to Millwall (they were at home apparently) so was refused entry.
I would say Championship and the odd year in the 3rd tier. The Goldstone would be much the same, the east terrace would be completely closed, or just had seats bolted onto the terrace, but no roof. Can’t disturb the view for those living in Goldstone Lane can we, and the lower west and north...
