Oh come on! He looked really bloody good in PL2 as well. Player of the season; not just Brighton's PL2 player of the season, but the whole of PL2's player of the season. You don't get that for being sh1te, and there's plenty of competition.

If it's right that he has been released by Hull, then his career looks to be on a downward path. He has talent, so he could make a comeback, of course, but it would take three or four seasons and a lot of hard work!

I would think there's a fair case to be made for another season's loan - although there may be interesting alternatives, lower end PL or abroad for a year perhaps.

No, because it's not my problem! It's not me that has to decide to pay him that much - and it's not my money either! If the people that run the club think what he brings to the club is worth the money the club pays him, I'm easy.
