I went on a cinema date with a girl, she chose Scary movie and laughed hysterically all the way through, I barely managed a grin. Probably the worse film I've ever seen
I am massively opposed to positive discrimination but seeing as we have so many years of excluding groups based on colour, gender and disability it's hard to argue we need to address the issue but it feels like we are taking steps that ignore the root causes of a inequality.
I always look at...
I think i will hold on to the bitterness I feel over their cup win for a long time but despite a relatively easy path to the final I think they deserve their European adventure. Had it not been for their shocking start they'd probably be in the European places anyway maybe even champions league...
We could spend 500 million and we'd probably only make top 4.
Leicester was freak one off where everything aligned for them and that probably won't be repeated. Man city invested heavily over a number of seasons before their period of success, Arsenal have spent 100s of millions chasing the...
I like this as reminder of how we've been a bit rubbish for most of our history.
This is my 30th year of supporting the Albion and for around 20 of those we've been pretty terrible. If we can't score our 2nd best season in 125 years somewhere near a 10 I think we've all become a bit spoilt.
I think the bottom 3 could be the promoted teams again but I think after a summer of being raided Bournemouth could be a surprise team to struggle snd get sucked in to relegation battle.
I'm feeling bitter but the reality is we should probably be competing in Europe with them next season, our mid season blip cost us massively.
Just need to hope their foray in Europe ends in 0 points and a derailed domestic season.
I was thinking this the other day funny enough when I was on a plane to Rhodes and someone next to my daughter was reading the dick knight book. I dont think i do anything to give away my support of the Albion. No shirt, no phone screensavers or any merchandise of any description
Bournemouth have a huge catchment with the Bournemouth, christchurch and Poole conurbation close to 400k but the population is largely indifferent to football (although that's slowly changing)
I think it would take them a generation to attract crowds anywhere close to ours and if Poole town...
Wrexham's revival and the media circus has rubbed many lower league fans up the wrong way but I've got a lot more respect for wealthy owners picking a team lower down the pyramid.
I like the way they've gone about their investment and am pleased it's being repaid on the pitch. Will be...
I think he's doing a pretty solid job overall.
The way results have come has been somewhat champagne or razor blades which has made the fans a bit reactionary....good start- pack your bags ready for Barcelona, he's better than RDZ average results-he's finding his way/rubbish -5 on the bounce-...
I have dug a smallish wildlife pond that's ready for planting. It's 2.5 metres by 2 metres with lots of different depths donw to 45cm. Any advice on plants that won't overtake the space and attach wildlife.
Would also love to see some photos for inspiration.
People who are writing off Cashin will do well to remember how poor Van Hecke was in a few of his early performances. Positions further up the pitch are much more forgiving in terms of rustiness and bedding in.
I'd go for a himalayan birch. You'll get privacy but the canopy will still allow light pass. They are great for wildlife and you'll have a winter interest from their striking white bark
I just read on twitter that Evertons stadium cost will likely exceed 800 million and could push 1bn. It looks like another incredible ground but not up to the standard of Tottenham's IMO. It's an eye watering amount of money.
It got me thinking what the Amex would cost to build today.
I think...
I really hate these threads, reminds me of the live streaming idiot chelsea fans screamingly like a child who's been told they can't have a toy from Tesco.
I might be tempting fate but they have a pretty tough run in. I'm a massive advocate of Fabian but if he can't get a decent return from our next three and extend our lead over Palace it will be a huge missed oppertunity
