Lord B has asked me to post an update on his state of health since he's been very touched by the thoughtful wishes he's received all the while he's been ill.
He was admitted to St. Thomas' Hospital in London (Northumberland Ward) last week where, on Thursday he had an epically huge operation...
I'm very pleased to announce that we've had some excellent news. Lord B had an appointment with the oncologist yesterday evening and we were told that, following some pretty gruelling treatment since last June, his scans revealed no signs of cancer.
Obviously he's going to be closely monitored...
Firstly, can I thank everyone who sent such kind messages of congratulation when we recently got married. It was brilliant to see some of you at our "Big Fat Wedding Night Down at The Dorset" too and thanks for the brilliant presents and cards.
