Sorry I didn’t mean guest tickets. I meant tickets bought on the exchange

    [Albion] My Albion Plus

Am I right in thinking guest tickets have to be adult tickets? If so, there’s the reason. Edit: not guest tickets, exchange tickets

You could list the ticket on the exchange and then buy it as a guest ticket (guests don’t have to have memberships but might need to have their details registered). You’ll pay the full price but get your season ticket refund- it might work out cheaper

    [Football] Bournemouth capacity

According to this slightly old article we make £560,000 more per game than Bournemouth. So that’s £10.64m per season. We blew almost that much on Ansu Fati. https://sportsjournal.io/premier-league-football-clubs-matchday-revenue-data-2022-23/

[Albion] Palace, Brighton, 8th, Europe, Man City - a potentially interesting/horrific/brilliant situation

I get your point. But Man City winning another FA Cup isn’t really going to make a difference to anything. While winning the FA Cup and qualifying for Europe would be huge for Palace. So I’m all in for a City win

[Albion] Palace, Brighton, 8th, Europe, Man City - a potentially interesting/horrific/brilliant situation

So theoretically one year there could be 7 English teams in the Champions League. As you’ve described above but with a non top 6 side winning the Europa League.

[Misc] Just eaten a spleen and lung roll in Palermo.

If we’re talking random food, then I was in the Amazon and the tour guide pulled up this plant and said to me as the closest person “hold out your hand”. I did as asked and he banged the plant on my hand and about 10 yellow ants were running around. “Eat them” he said. I wasn’t exactly...

[Albion] Still 2,000 season tickets to be sold for next season

You do realise that as soon as you give up your season ticket you are behind all season ticket holders in the queue for away games? Not so much a case of your points dwindling as your ability to buy away tickets will fall off a cliff.

[Football] The name of the Champions League

Isn’t it named after The World newspaper? They sponsored it originally, or something like that. Edit: apparently not ‘For many years, it was believed that the name came from the fact that the original series was sponsored by the New York World Telegram newspaper, thus becoming known as the...

[Albion] Is there a boycott of the Liverpool game planned?

The clubs can’t take Sky’s billions and then moan when Sky take what they paid for. It wouldn’t surprise me if there was actually a clause in the deal banning clubs from in any way criticising Sky.

    [Albion] Most Successful Pen Taker.

IIRC the one Le Tiss save was Mark Crossley who had a great record at saving penalties. I believe he also spent a lot of time studying penalty takers so that he could read them. Edit: he actually only saved 3 out of 43. Le Tiss, Lineker and Sheringham. So the second half of what I wrote is...
