I should have read this a bit earlier as I ran upto and including the Wednesday before. However for a 10K maybe not quite so important. I wanted to finish in under an hour and did it in 55 mins so was well happy. I even managed a sprint finish, well it felt like a sprint finish :-)
How about beating Tottenham 2-1 back in April 1983 Gatting & Ryan. I think we were down to 10 men! I recall listening on Radio whilst on holiday at Butlins!
Just seen this thread and now spent about an hour reading some of it. I am 46 useless at all sports and apart from cycling to work not done any exercise since giving up badminton about 8 years ago. Started running back in March after my work offered some coaching sessions. Now absolutely love it...
I have lived in Amsterdam since 1998 and love it. Before I lived and worked in London for 10 years. I earn less and pay more tax here (52%) but my quality of life is so much better. Cycling to work instead of commuting by train is fantastic.
I don't have milk to my tea (or coffee). I do though add a few drops of lime juice from a fresh lime. This takes away the bitterness, I don't do sugar in tea or coffee.

I was speaking to this Dutch fan and he really didn't rate him, he said good going forward but poor at defending. It may have been the other way round as I was on the Duvell at the time!
