A little background...
My wife and elder son are Saints fans, along with my sister in law and niece and nephew... my youngest son (12 and autistic) and I are BHA fans, so this game means a little more to us than most. We have a season ticket and travel to home games from north of Birmingham...
A discussion point only, I clearly don't have the answer, but I'm interested to know people's opinions
And yes, I know we haven't won it.. yet... maybe... but the team has still surpassed all the others since 1966, and yet I look at the teamsheet and wonder why?
Look at the players and compare...
So as of Wednesday I am going to have a lot more time on my hands.
I remember many years ago, someone put together a draft type game where each player would pick any current player in the world, and continue in turns to make a team squad. If you picked first in round 1 you picked last in round...
I did a search but couldn’t find anything on this. Earlier today I tried to listen to the game while out on my iPhone, I went to the site, logged into MyAlbion digital, and clicked on the live broadcast - on both Safari and Chrome it would not let me click on the play button, I assume a flash or...
I saw something on here that got me thinking... at what point do we stop being concerned about any 3 teams out of the bottom 7 losing so they don’t catch us, and then start wanting “bigger” clubs to go down (thus in theory leaving weaker clubs in the Premier League for next season for us to stay...
Promoted...
So, I hear you cry - "no way, Bobby is a legend"... but let's look at the facts...
Both had successful loan spells at the club
Both would have fired us to promotion twice (with Glenn's being divisions higher)
Both left the club and returned successfully
Both made Withdean...
Couldn't see another thread for this and thought I would do this even though half the players didn't look remotely as if they wanted to be there.
Maenpaa - 8 MOM - did everything he could to keep us in the game even though we didn't deserve to be
Ridgewell - 7 - looked fairly assured
Goldson -...
Disappointing to draw after a poor sending off decision and an even poorer decision to play March up front when we were trying to hang on... Didn't hold it, didn't chase it down...
Stockdale - 8 - MOM - made a few good saves and couldn't have done anything with the goals
Bruno - 6 - Not as good...
JFC to Wolves?
WOLVES
Brighton's Jake Forster-Caskey has emerged as a potential target for Wolves.
The midfielder was the standout player for the Seagulls last season and a regular starter for Gareth Southgate's England Under-21's.
Very much at ease on the ball, Caskey is well-known for his...

Isn't that what football is all about?
Excitement
Not all about winning, or about reaching the playoffs, or the Premier League... its about excitement, and that's what has been lacking for the last year or so:
Getting Excited about reading on a Sunday night that we were about to spend 2.5m on...
Hi,
As some of you will know we started a NSC draft some time ago where we all picked players in turn against certain categories - thanks to Rohana for such a brilliant idea.
Anyway - now that we have completed our teams along with a manager - we thought we would put this information into...

So I was diagnosed with DVT yesterday after going to doc with a swollen ankle several weeks after breaking it. Got to have injections in the stomach every day until the blood thins enough from the rat poison I have to take every day also.
Anyone had any experiences of this?
Following on from the thread about film moments that make you blub - what about iconic images from films which stay with you forever...
I'll start with the end of The Planet of the Apes (Original) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPfcim_p38w - sigh, how do I embed YouTube links?
