....sorry to have to say this, but I think most of our strips
(mostly away) have been naff in the extreme.
Can we please get someone to design a decent strip for
next season which doesn't make you cringe when you see it.
For gawd's sake - it's not too much to ask is it?
Up until now I...
This sunday is the London to Brighton bike ride ...
The chance to publicise to 26,000 peeps about the
need for our stadium as well as raising cash for the
British Heart Foundation.
I'm riding it,.....anyone else?
I want an effective way of publicising the Falmer campaign
without impinging...
...who had gone out to Portugal and was at the match.
You'd start to think that life had something against you.
I know it's pretty hard to come to terms with what happened
last night, but as Royal Ali says, we did the same to swindon
almost. And for me, that makes it a little more bearable...
Is anyone else like me....
Two weeks of well, just football madness.
I still find it hard to believe we pulled that feat off.
It just seems too amazing by far.
I'll never forget last Sunday or indeed the swindon home
match sat in Ireland.
Was this all some sort of joke?
The train I was on - people were lolling up and down the
aisles - shorts, bottles can s the works!!!
I think even the conductor had had a few.
So what are we to believe from the hype?
I had a couple of drinks in the Old Arcade boozer yesterday.
Thankfully they laid on cold tinnies from a barrel at two
quid a pop.
Wot a great idea - took the real hassle out of waiting at
a bar and then having some ignorant arse*ole push in front
of you.
Top stuff......aside from the...
Thanks to all concerned for a cracking evening:
Liam, MYOB, James, Mark and partner....plus assorted
locals
A night to remember
....as soon as I can sort this image lark out I'll post the
photo...
On the basis that I probably won't get a ticket (words of the
albion ticket office), is anyone going to the Sports Bar in C.
London on Sunday to watch?
I read that Wasps RFC were awarded 2.5 mill in compensation
because the surveyors of the ground they sold undervalued
by that amount. This was back in late 1990's.
So it begs the question (even though I'm sure that that scum
archer and belotti fixed it)
who valued the Goldstone and is...
Two years ago I ended up in a boozer on the waterfront
not far from the BC ground - it had a small yachting
lake on the water at its front - but can't for the life
of me remember its bloody name? It had a patio
in front. There was loads of Albion in there that
day.
Can anyone enlghten me...
If only football had a few more people like BF - I'm only sorry that
he seemed to missed our attempt at a standing ovation for
him at the beginning of the second half.
The guy is top class....
He was a disgrace last time he came here, and then I sent a
letter of complaint to the FA.
So, bearing in mind that a lot of other people did the same,
why in God's name was he back.
what next?
Prosser back at the Withdean.
I couldn't handle that and would probably do something
which...
Aside from not having any feeling in my feet or head at the
end of yesterday, I can't help feel that open terracing
is exploited by clubs to dump away fans in so that firstly,
they are less likely to travel if the weather is bad and secondly
to reduce the risk of any atmosphere being generated...
It's a long shot on this board - LOL
but has anyone got any (fairly) original stand-up
gags they can share?
ok, ok!!! I'm supposed to be doing some this weekend
and have been a lazy b - I'm going to bomb unless
I get some inspiration.
btw,
The standard of jokes seem to have shot up since...
