Clearing out the loft and coming across this precious find of the Supporters Club annual Handbook for season 1964/65 - which of you fellow old-timers remembers those!? And in the inside page a photo of Bobby Smith! An unbelievable coup for the now 4th tier BHA to secure him on 14th May for the...
OK so who's still interested in old programmes? I have loads from the 1970/80s including the odd away game, one really old Walsall vs BHA from 1961. Sorry, but I'd want to keep my 1983 semi-final and final programmes. Let me know. I'd rather do a job lot of all of them, probably 200 to 300.
https://theanalyst.com/eu/2024/02/steele-or-verbruggen-its-time-for-de-zerbi-to-choose/ in-depth analysis of Verbruggen vs Steele this season suggests Verbruggen as a no-swap, no-brainer, permanent stopper!
Mitoma's 7th goal of the season is a Premier League record for a Japanese player, beating the two Shinji's, Ozaki and Kagawa (both 6 goals) from Leicester (2017-18) and Man Utd (2012-13). I would'nt bet against him extending that record considerably before end of season.

Nice little article on Football365 about the 'badge of honour' associated with 'teams like Brighton and Brentford'.

Two of our players in the BBC Sports readers tournament eleven chosen from post-match rating averages - Caicedo and Estupinan, but surprisingly no McAllister.

Can't see a thread for this so will take a punt - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59903274 - Duffy and Lamptey both currently in team of the season as voted for by viewers. Is this normal or another sign of how far we've progressed?
Not just a rhetorical question. How often will an early solitary goal get equalised in the last few moments? Seems to happen all the time to me. So much so that I was fairly confident it would, even more so with our good record of scoring late this season. Easy to be wise etc, you will say. But...
21st February 2021. For 90 minutes a valiant packed Crystal Palace defence withstood a new Premier record 45 shots from the misfiring Brighton attackers, but at 92 minutes Hodgson, who had earlier said "he's still feeling it", put a fresh Zaha on from the bench to score a spectacular last-minute...

Every day there appears to be another club "following Ben White's progress". From Liverpool, Man U, Newcastle, Wolves and today, apparently, it's Leicester. Latest report suggests Bloom may gladly welcome a bidding war. Is this true and nevertheless will we staunchly rebut all offers for a guy...
Guy came up to me in the pub and asked me if I'd help with some "subterranean work, nudge, nudge". Don't know if it's legal or not but I reckon if the authorities get to hear about it there'll be fireworks tonight! Boom, boom!
Argus Sports page latest Premier League table shows us up to 4th already, and increased number of sides this season as FA have apparently decided to cancel last season's teams' relegation (but ignore any accumulated points) and still allow in the newly promoted teams. I think I missed that news...
