If they beat The Biggest Club The World Has Ever Seen tonight, they'll qualify for the play-offs.
Last time they were in the top flight was 1979/80.
Nice place to go for an away trip. It's been a while since Sidders from the half-way line...
1981... to stay in the old Division One. I think it's often forgotten what an amazing 'great escape' that was. We had to win our last four games to avoid relegation, and we did. A 3-0 win at Palace, then 2-1 v Leicester. Full-back Gary Williams volleying in from a corner in the last minute at...
Fab must be in the running for February. How amazing would it be if he won it after losing 7-0 on the first day of the month?*
*Will presumably prevent it happening.
They've only conceded 9 goals all season (34 games) and have gone 12 consecutive Championship games without conceding. Pretty remarkable.
Not sure how much this is do with having James Trafford in goal, it surely can't be to do with having Scott Parker as their manager?!
Could this be 'our year'? (Stop sniggering at the back - you never know!)
If we are to progress, we need to avoid other Premier League teams and hope as many as possible get eliminated.
So far:
West Ham
Brentford
A 'big name' to fall today (Arsenal/Man U).
In the meantime, c'mon Tamworth...
Probably the last person on here to realise this, but no trains from Ipswich to Norwich on Sat. The alternatives are one and a half hours on a replacement bus through the most boring part of the entire country or via Royston and Cambridge North (also involving bus). Both almost a three hour...
Celebrated like he'd scored the winner in the Champions League final after his admittedly well-taken goal, jumping over the barrier etc. A few minutes later, wild shot from an unlikely angle when other players in a great position. Welbz absolutely loses his sh*t with him - and rightly so. I know...
I've recently moved into a new flat in a block. Today I was getting everything delivered from the storage company. Moments before the van was due to arrive with my things, a contractor's van turned up to do some work on one of the flats, completely blocking the entrance to the driveway.
When...
It's all incredibly tight, isn’t it? Lose a couple and you're hovering just above the drop zone, win a couple and you could go second.
Combination, I guess, of some of the big names struggling a bit and some of the smaller sides (ourselves, Forest, Fulham, Brentford, Bmuff) having decent...
Thanks to that abysmal pass, we missed the chance to go 3rd in the table, which would have been our highest-ever league position, if you exclude very early-season placings.
I think that's why I'm so annoyed about it - it would have been a small historical achievement for our club. A chance...
Interesting article in the Gruniad today, with a graph illustrating how our style has changed across our Premier League seasons:

Not sure if posted elsewhere, but no trains today between Three Bridges and Lewes/Brighton. Replacement bus hell. Perfect timing seeing as we are playing a London club.
Yes, all teams get them. But are we blighted more than most? Two of our best players (JPVH and Pedro) out for weeks, if not months :(
I thought we had a new crack team of medics to address this. Are we just unlucky?
