[Other Sport] Defining Sporting Moment of the last 30 years (BBC Poll)

Unsure of the exact qualifications of the voting but I'd throw Japans beating of South Africa in the UK hosted RWC into the mix. Their courageous and unrelenting attacks long into injury time were greatly impressive and entertaining. Wouldn't settle for the draw either. And of course the Amex...

    [Politics] Owen Jones

Feck me, I do find him irritating to listen to. Having said that and not having made it near to the end of his 24 min speech, I could not agree more with the sentiment on this occasion.

We've had enough good chances to have scored more than 4 goals. Playing decent enough and tactics about right imo. Conceding would mean game over so requires some caution. Just the finishing letting us down.

[Albion] Was forcing Sanchez out the worst decision our club has made in years?

[Albion] Positives from Roma destroying us

ok. We''re still more than a "generation" behind the top 6 in wealth and experience. Still pinching myself we've got to play in Rome. Hostile atmosphere. Unprecedented injuries and some fickle fans. Not quite on euro level. Rome wasn't built in a day, or a few years, or a season or two 😉...
