[Misc] A bit of good news - albeit personal. The moral - never give up.

Thanks for sharing your experience. It’s tough for everyone and well done for hanging on in there and continuing to support your son. I hope others also gain hope and support from this.

[Albion] Teddy Maybank Q and A

I thought it was Spider Mellor that jumped up and hit his head on the dugout at the Orient? Long time ago though

    [Misc] Santa

I organised Breakfast and Tea with Santa events this weekend. It was interesting to watch the children‘s responses as they approached and spoke with Santa. Some of the youngest were too frightened to come up and receive their gift. A couple of 10 year old girls looked a bit as if they knew this...

    [Albion] Molineux

Always find the Wolves fans to be very friendly and particularly grateful to the one who paid for my parking online as the app wouldn’t load properly for me. I did find it strange that the manager travelled to the ground on a different coach to the players and that the players went behind the...

[Albion] Small sections of our away support at FGR

You obviously weren’t at Rotherham that Tuesday night in January 2016. Still trying to thaw out ….

    [Film] RIP David Warner (actor)

Which has made we think whether an undertaker’s news bulletin ever contains good news?

    [Misc] Black Country Living Museum

Glad you enjoyed the Black Country Museum. We went on the way back from the Wolves away game as we stayed up there for a few days. I definitely think Beamish is better, but this will probably catch up in a couple of year when all the building work has finished,

[News] Have You Ever Seen The Queen?

When she visited Worthing her helicopter flew over my house as it came into land on Broadwater Green. I also saw her at the 2018 Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall and on the Golden Barge during the boat pageant for her diamond jubilee. All quite memorable occasions.

[Misc] Do you or anybody you know want a Swansman in your house for 3 months?

Ben White’s house is still empty in Worthing but probably about a 15 minute walk to West Worthing station. Perhaps you could mend his garage door in exchange for rent?

    [Albion] Pubs for Spurs

Slightly off topic but can someone tell me whether cars can park on the industrial estate where the coaches park?

But seating could be put on 2 other sides - it doesn’t say how many seats are required. Other facilities here are good although the local residents might not be so keen.

Signed. My Grandad played for Derby 100 years ago.

[Albion] Not trains at all for Brentford.

Couldn’t agree more. It’s a shame we can’t use West Hove Sainsbury’s on a more regular basis. Thanks are due to all the drivers who worked last night. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many coaches in one place before and it was quite a sight as we left last night.

    [Albion] Albion ticket site

Just about to post the same question! Think there must be a problem with the Albion site.

[TV] University Challenge: shocking performance by our lot

It was a tad disappointing. But I guess it was more disappointing in 1968 when Keele University won as Sussex would have been the only university to win 3 in a row had they won then.
