On Newnight just now, they said that the UK National debt (currently approx £800,000,000,000) is presently growing at £500,000,000 a DAY !!! What the HECK are they spending it on? and how the HELL are we going to pay it back?

I have been watching this morning on the BBC Parliament channel, and I am struck that the clarity of political thinking, quality of debate and standard of public speaking beggars belief. It is, quite frankly, appalling. It is almost embarrassing to watch :nono:

that was only our second in 11 league games this season... the other being v Orient on 30th August. So that's a small crumb of GOOD NEWS in another disappointing week, isn't it?
