...I know it's an old cliche, but we really were BY FAR the better team, particularly in the second half. I think we would've won handsomely had Buckley or Vicente been on the pitch, but I just can't understand why CMS couldn't score with such fantastic opportunities. Anyway, it was very...
I've always tried to be the positive one on here but enough is enough. It's the 17th of August and already we're down to 7th place. We might as well have Wilkins as manager again. Bloom out, Poyet out, Barber out, sack the board.
I usually pour scorn on such threads, but there really are a multitude of routes to Hull.
I've decided to do:
A23 - M23 - M25 - M11 - A14 - A1 - A46 - A15 - A1105 on the way (254 miles)
A63 - M62 - M18 - M1 - M69 - A46 - M40 - M25 - M23 - A23 on the way back (294 miles).
Thoughts?
Anyone...
Just been to the local deli and the lady in front of me was ordering a grilled wrap filled with tuna AND cheese. A few days ago a saw a different lady purchase a similarly filled jacket potato.
Now I like tuna and I like cheese, but surely this is an abomination?
Thoughts?
Just been looking at my calendar, and realised that IF the first home match is away, we probably won't play at home on a Saturday until at least 15th September.
25th August - Bank Holiday weekend
1st September - Pride
8th September - International break
15th - could possibly be away again!
I've had three people tell me that it's at five now, so I thought I'd be helpful and post it on here. I think it may have originally been listed as 5, but perhaps they changed it due to potential TV viewing figures?
I see Pride 2012 is on September 1st. Presumably something to do with the Olympics?
So we can be sure we won't have a home match on the 1st, or the following weekend, which is international weekend.
I've been reading a quite interesting thread on the QI website:
QI Talk Forum | View topic - Advertising - Do we really take note?
What inaccuracies most annoy you in TV ads?
Have to agree with the comments on the soap dispenser that you don't have to touch. What is the point?!
Early doors I know but here they are:

So it's costing them £1million a year to play at London Road. The capacity will be down to circa 8k. I feel sorry for them. They must be one of the favourites for relegation next season along with Barnsley...
Of all the adds to have at the top of the Big Board, there can't be many that I've been less interested in! :nono:
Prices frozen? Big deal, it'll be their first season out of the top flight since when?
