[Football] UEFA U21 European Championships - Hinshelwood, Beadle, Gruda and Coppola

Still has some way to go to convince Birmingham fans, judging by their reactions. A tough task for the lad; character-forming, no doubt - good luck to him coming through it with flying colours!

[Football] If Palace can't play in the Europa League

    - or could it be that Bloom has worked out the odds of getting Palace kicked out and has decided the odds aren't worth a punt?

[Albion] Charalampos Kostoulas SINGED 5-year deal

Taylor Richards made a pretty good effort to do it at Birmingham!

[Albion] Charalampos Kostoulas SINGED 5-year deal

The way the deal was done, and when it was done (3rd. February) did we have any choice but to leave him at Numberg? - we'd missed the deadline to bring him here, hadn't we?

[Albion] Charalampos Kostoulas SINGED 5-year deal

It probably won't be on the Albion official site until he's actually physically singed (and the ink is dry!) - the BBC article only reports he is going to sing after his medical. As is the way of the world these days, it'll probably be on the Albion FB page before the official site anyway.

    [Albion] Matt O Riley [26/08/24 - sings on a 5-year deal]

Hope so. We want success - but it is important that we keep the 'our club' feeling by having some of our own coming through.

[Albion] Charalampos Kostoulas SINGED 5-year deal

Just dotting the 'i's and crossing the 't's to go then. Looks like we're trying to stock up on teenage strikers now that presumably we've got enough wingers and players wanting to be the no.10!

[Albion] The 2024-25 Loanee Tracker Thread

 Winning and losing isn't important for the purposes of development. Of course, the aim is to win, but for the development squad winning is not so important as learning. OK, you've had your argument. I'll leave it with the facts.

[Albion] The 2024-25 Loanee Tracker Thread

Nonsense! If the aim for the U21s was winning PL2, the Paint Pot trophy and the National Trophy, etc, we'd put out the strongest team possible. We don't. (and with very good reason). That is not to say they're not trying to win - they'd better be!

Overpriced! £2.79 or over (3.00 if you exclude 'Spoons) to £4.00 here; hand pulls, and straight gravity from the barrels for cider. Enjoy your life up norf in the affluent zone!

[Football] If Palace can't play in the Europa League

....and if Cardiff win the FA Cup (again) and Wrexham win the league cup - oh what fun we could have! Connah's Quay Nomads in the CL, anyone?

    [News] Wetherspoons

Seriously, if your 'Spoons is as bad as that, write to Tim Wetherspoon - you might be surprised at how the top business man who supported Brexit will respond to that, considering how committed he is to providing a good product. Entrepreneurs with an ear to the ground, whatever next? Try it -...

    [Football] England vs Senegal

Excellent start by Tuchel. In 2 games he's weeded out a dozen - if not 20 - players he no longer needs to bother about calling up to his squad. Referee was incredibly weak for not telling VAR to get f*cked for the 'equaliser'; that alone is a good example of why we should ditch VAR - it...
