Settling down to enjoy MOTD2, as I’ve held off watching the highlights. You just know all the pundits will talk about the team that finished 17th come the end.

OK. Back on track. Do not feed the trolls. Not sure what will happen in the league next season. This is a ridiculously tough division and so many teams look good. However, I really feel we’ve a trophy in us soon.

A season showing plenty of promise, with lots to look forward to next time round. Palace fans will be pissing themselves laughing, and rightly so. They’ve done us all ends up this season. We’d do the same if the roles were reversed. But that’s another top 10 finish and a lot of development...

If it comes to that then I guess we should just remind them that our league position would have qualified for Europe in two of the last three seasons, while they burble about in mid table. They won’t give a shit, of course, but there you go.

I'm going militantly "glass half full". It would be awful to finish 8th and have a European place denied by the Croydon Shufflers so better to finish 9th and not let them dangle that over us as well as their cup win.

I suppose so but then we've had more squad members score than any other team in the division, so there's goals all over the park if we're at it.

I've given up worrying about the apparent strength of a lineup ever since that time I raised an eyebrow at our starting XI for Wolves... right before we rinsed them 6-0.
