I booed, hate them with a passion. All stems back to the early 80's when they would throw bags of piss and shit at away fans on the way to Anfield....horrible fans...
I always park at Morden, always spaces in the car park and bout £6.50 to park all day. Location of the car park using what 3 words is: Porch.Torn.Grab. 5 min walk to Morden Tube station, catch the 93 bus to Wimbledon station and then District line train to Fulham Broadway.
Brilliant, thank you, obvious now I know. It always sounded like 'Jealously' to me but I knew that wasn't right... I can sing the whole song now...lol...
Got very dry skin, my knuckles get so dry they crack and bleed, probably riding motorbikes in all weathers. I use E45 every day. Game changer. Arms and legs are sleeved with tattoo's so I use E45 on my arms and legs also, makes the tatts look much better, especially as they are 20-40 years old....
I right royally f***ed up there, I volunteered to drive a mini bus full of veterans to an event on Saturday forgetting about the football....ah well, my ticket is on the exchange...
I'm a terrible sleeper and I blame it all on the watchkeeping I did for the best part of 8 years. I survive on about 4 hours sleep a night. The Naval Party I was part of in 82 down the Falklands was so small we had to work 1 in 2 for 6 months. 4 hours on 4 hours off during the day and 6 hours...
We left it late..Mrs was 40, me 41. Had over 20 years of partying and travelling the world and felt we needed a change but didn't know what. Mrs thought she was going through the menopause and had blood test only for the doc to phone us one evening and say "Congratulations, your pregnant"...
The Selecter, always fancied Pauline Black, she looks just as good now as she did back in the 80's. Took my daughter to see them last month. They are always touring.
And then there is Madness, love em....
Looks like I'm in the minority of quite liking this away day. It's an easy drive, loads of parking, we usually beat them. Will be on the half way line, 5 rows back....looking forward to it....
That is called Chaff, a ship fires into the air to confuse an Exocet missile and direct it away from its target…. It did work quite well in 82 and probably would have interfered with radio signals for a short time having been deployed. Once dispersed radio signals would have been back to normal.
If you need any help/info on how to apply for indulgence flights and accommodation, give me a shout and I can point you in the right direction. The first time I went back with a load of 2 Para lads, they all found it a great benefit.... It's not for everyone though.
They would have no chance. Did you know there is now a fully operational airbase down there that went fully operational in1985, anywhere between 1000 and 2000 personnel based there at any one time. All kinds of aircraft based there, airplanes not my thing so don't know what they are. There is an...
So I am a veteran of the Falklands War. Not a day goes by where I don't think about it. I haven't got PTSD or anything but I do suffer with survivor guilt sometimes. It has been a big part of my life for the last 43 years. I was drafted down there again in 84 for 6 months serving at Commcen...
