I thought Ayari was our best midfield player after the first 7-8 minutes. Considering he was playing a new role at the base of our midfield, he generally did it well. Just not as well as Baleba would have.

The biggest problem for Lamptey is he seems to need 2-3 touches to control the ball at the moment. In the Premier League, that’s quite a big flaw. BUT, he put in the two most dangerous crosses of the game, one of which we scored from, and he generally defended very well.
