Agreed. A long way to go. 'In season' tables can be odd though. They don't always reflect the rules that come into play at the end, where head to head is involved. Not sure of their current stance but in the past on international competitions UEFA have sometimes ordered teams according to goal...

It’s true that head to head counts but, I think strictly speaking, not until the ‘competition concludes’. Still, it looks nice, meaningless as it is at this point. Cheered me up a bit.
