Bi-annual post to remind people that if you’re looking for a tour next year, come to The Netherlands!
Would be great to have some teams from Sussex this year coming over. 😊
Absolutely this. We’ve also sent some boys to Australia and whilst they expect some return, they know for a lot of them it’s the experience. If they really wanted the runs and wickets they’d pay a local player the amount they’re giving to overseas.
This is fantastic, thanks for this! I know there is something similar over here but it's practically useless, the website doesn't even work properly so it's useful to see this and give feedback though to the KNCB. We held 2 sessions over the summer but retention has been our biggest problem...
Great stuff! Out of curiosity, do you feel the interest was there for your junior sides or did it require a lot of extra work? It's something we're looking into a pushing with youth days, going into schools etc, but finding it very hard for kids to hold interest. That, or they move to our rivals...

Absolute shocker for me this week. Came in at 5, first ball cut straight into the hands of point. First golden duck since I was 15.
Fortunately, we won by 91 runs with myself getting a couple of wickets in the process.
Love this thread!
First game of the season for me tomorrow as we Hercules take on Voorburg. We’ve taken the step to go partially semi pro (some players being paid, others given reimbursements, sponsors) and it’s a massive workload. Got two lads over from New Zealand and one broke his hand on...
