I think when you have struggled as he has recently the knack of being in the right place at the right time seems to desert you. Sometimes that's because you start looking for the ball in the wrong place, dropping to deep or making your runs too early etc.
More of a worry for me is that he is...
Yes that's what people do.
After all he is 19 and has only scored 12 premier league goals.
I mean Harry Kane must have scored 100s in the PL by the time he was 19.
I think I will leave it to Fab to work out how to get him scoring for us again.
I suspect he was going to get some time, but the O'Riley injury changed things. He wouldn't have lasted 80+ minutes so O'Mahony comes on and effectively plays in his position.
Suspect Evan will be on the bench on Saturday.
I think overall, Big Ferg, like many other Irish folk, has had a jolly good St Patrick's Weekend!
He has a big, big future, and hopefully a lot of that will be with us.
Ireland has probably the best midfield in the world.... Sexton and Gibson Park! Unfortunately for the FAI, the football midfield is not quite as talented as their rugby team
For me, the best news is not whether he'll be back on Saturday or not, but that he actually went to Burgess Hill of all places
Presumably he was there to support his Irish mates.
And someone said he was watching the U21s the other day when Moran scored a couple.
Given that at the start of the...
I suspect we need to wait until later in the week. I remember Potter used to give updates saying Lallana or Welbeck or Webster were not quite ready for the next games, which we knew meant we wouldn't see them in a Brighton shirt for 6 games.
On the other hand, we might see him on Saturday
