Yeah well that is certainly the case. But we do have too many attacking players. I would be very surprised if we don't see someone like Enciso or Ferguson (or both) going out on loan in January. They're hardly playing as it is and then we have some £100m of attacking players sidelined. Obviously...
I think the original plan was Joao Pedro up front and one of our 83 attacking midfielders (with Rutter or O'Riley or Gruda as the main options) behind him. Danny Welbeck has made things complicated though.
He will get more shit when he has a dip in form for the very same reasons. Would be absolutely slaugthered if he had a year similar to the one Enciso has had.
Yeah it was broken because the Dahoud signing didn't work out. He was supposed to be a fit, fully grown body in there.
Some say Roberto should have played Baleba more but I don't know about that. Its like Potter with Caicedo or Hughton with Bissouma, the last thing you want is a kiddo running...
I think he was great overall. Him and Billy did a good job considering they are a fairly incompatible midfield duo, with both of them kind of needing a more destructive player as a midfield partner.
But yea, Gross was poor in the final two months. Playing everything and everywhere for us while...
Some of them sure, but I don't think he could play in a defensive midfield role like Gross did at various times and seasons. He needs a balance player or two behind him in midfield even if he would play deeper than he has so far. I'd be quite nervous with him as a DMC.
Well, he does give the ball away a fair bit. Not because he's not technically good enough - he certainly is, and then some - but because he's almost always looking for the high risk high reward option. A little too often if he's eventually going to be the ooba-dooba-good player he could turn...
Errr I may be some sort of oracle compared to you but I was really just checking in premierleague.com and saw Rutter had an assist to his name, and not sure why its not the case everywhere, hence my guess
Also credited with one on the official PL website.
Thinking maybe the automated assist data was messed up somehow and that he's been awarded it later, but maybe not everything is updated everywhere.
Best player today if we consider first half a part of the game as well.
The consistency in his ball control is on a different level to our other excellent technicians. Give it 6 months and he'll be considered a star player for us.
Feck knows how we're going to fit everyone in when people get...
Back in 2014, when they had the ultra-batshit crazy owner Cellino, Leeds announced late on deadline day "Don't go to bed yet" as if they were signing a player (which was the plan, but Pavoletti changed his mind), but they just ended up sending out two players on loan, before tweeting they were...
