My theory would be that he actually can’t run about that much at the moment. I suspect his has limited stamina still (after glandular fever) and that his fitness levels have not returned in full.
I watched.
He was as bad as he was in the first game, perhaps worse. He seemed to lose the ball each time he got it which was rare because his movement was poor. Lost every 50/50 easily.
He looked like a player right at the beginning of his pre-season up against others who have been going...
Agree. But he came on into a shit storm. No one was able to pass to him. He looked miles off having any meaningful minutes for us against Ipswich.
The Wolves cup game might come too soon also.
I’m not starting questioning the club’s judgement, I’m questioning yours.
Any professional footballer, in fact any footballer shouldn’t go into a match fearing ankle breakers. I suspect there are plenty of League One clubs that would not have approached the game like that. Grimsby is a great...
If Ferguson had been subbed on and had got the two footer Ayari received at the end (plus a subsequent injury), I’d be asking some serious questions about Hürzeler’s judgement. This was not the match for him.
I don’t think Ferguson is injured. He is trying to get back to elite levels of match fitness alongside March, Pervis and Verbruggen. I think he has completed his rehabilitation.
An injury or two to Pedro and Welbeck (such as we had last season) and our frontline looks very weak.
We need him...
The article claims that its source for this ridiculous nonsense is the ‘English Media’. A quick google and search on Twitter does not reveal ANY ‘English’ sources.
But, it does appear that certain Irish folk believe we’ve signed Rutter as a No.9 including this tinkler:
They’ve put 2+2...
This is the whisper on the stands.
I have no reason to doubt my source.
You can pinpoint Ferguson’s loss of energy, form and confidence to a specific lay-off that was described by the club as an un-named illness. He has never been the same since.
It all adds up and will be remedied by time...
I think we’ll see the young Irishman at Old Trafford. Hopefully after the likes of Mitoma and March have sunk Manure.
1st half:
———————-Welbeck——————
Mitoma————Lallana———--March
2nd half:
———————-Ferguson—————--
Fati——————-Pedro———-Adingra
Absolutely no problem at all. Tony doesn’t do January sales unless the player has run his contract down (see Barnes and Trossard). Evan has signed to 2028.
Not Citeh. This is the paragraph Garth has written:
“How could I leave young Evan Ferguson out? Another stunning find by Brighton’s astonishing recruitment system. He has played well enough to get himself a move to Tottenham Hotspurs in the next window. Spurs were more than a match for Burnley...
Here we go.
Just **** off. Leave us alone. FFS let us enjoy a player for more than a season. I hate the way a player is born and these ****s rip them straight off the BHA teat.
