Everton tend to start quickly against us. However, so long as we don’t go behind we have a big range of impact players this season to come on and torment them in the last 20.
The coach and players will have learned a lot about each other. Trying to implement new tactics whilst view all the players in the squad in one game against Liverpool or City in the summer sun would be nuts.
Happy with that to a large extent.
Probably a different game if they scored the one they hit the post from in the first minute and we never seemed secure down our right. Don’t think Velts was a conventional RB. At one point he popped up at left back.
That apart we were great. Very good...
Assume outdoor bars will be open though as I've just arranged to meet someone there!
