He's got much better, but that was absolutely NOT always the case. In the first half of last season he was very much prone to trying really stupid 'clever' flicks, that invariably confused his team mates and lost the ball.
In one of the home Europa League games, is was particularly evident, and...
Nobody has suggested he isn't a great talent.
Nobody has suggested that he should never be encouraged to shoot.
Nobody has suggested we sell him.
Nobody has suggested he's 'not good enough'.
He's tremendous fun to watch. Almost all Albion fans love him. Some (including his team-mates, I'm sure)...
I think @Han Solo has a fair point.
Julio is great fun, and has massive talent, but his decision making is pretty much woeful. He does need to play more to instruction, and more for the team around him, if he is going to ever be a regular starter in this current squad - where competition is...
Are they not fully fit?
Alzate has played every single Standard game since he signed in August, apart from one on the 24th September when he was serving a 1 match ban
Sarmiento has featured in 17 of West Brom's 22 Championship matches, including the 8 most recent.
I'd very happily welcome any of Sima, Sarmiento, Moran and Alzate to our current squad. Any / all of them would be very useful right now, and would be getting playing time.
Sarmiento back here in January, looks, in the short term at least, to be a very attractive option.
Indeed.
Ciara Walsh was carried off at the World Cup on a stretcher, in tears, mumbling "I've done my knee. I've done my knee" - then played in the next game!
And remember Leandro Trossard at St.Mary's? - given oxygen on the pitch, then stretchered off - only to play a few days later!
