I wasn't. More pointing to the fact that went after targets who either turned them down or turned out to be not what they wanted/expected
I quite like Ange and really like how he's got them playing. To the point that, at half time on Sunday, I was thinking that the first half...
I seem to recall Ange was one of the main targets and he turned them down? Then they approached about 18 other people before going back to him and he agreed to take over.
That, in itself, is pretty Spursey :lolol:
Unless I'm mistaken, our dearly departed BG had issues with Root - specifically not going on to make a century from 50.
I wonder what he would make of today?!
Almost certainly - I had this very conversation with a guy from Polestar the other day. The car manufacturers went with volume (C-segment SUVs) and lucid luxury first, to demonstrate the technology - and now they are going ivy different areas. There's clearly a need for EVs with smaller...
But that's my point. I popped up to Holmbush earlier and saw a BP Pulse sign. I followed it around and there's a bank of 50kW chargers in the M&S car park. Pop to the shops/cafe and potentially charge your car for the week. A charger outside your house would be great but it's not essential...
Fair enough. I'm genuinely fascinated with people's responses here, especially given their experience (or lack of) of actually living with an EV.
It can take a bit of planning, but if people follow the 'charge when you need to stop' approach, instead of 'stop when you need to charge' talk of...
Also, if you really do run out of charge, there is a (growing) fleet of AA vans (others are available, I'm sure) who will come and charge the vehicle. Just like when you run out of fuel!
No. If anyone thinks the EV charging infrastructure is inadequate, I suggest they don't look at how/where you can refuel with hydrogen.
Manufacturers having been banging on about hydrogen and fuel cells for decades. A senior engineer at GM told me back in the early 2000s that the company would...
Just out of interest - and not trying to start a binfest - how many miles would you like and how many more charge points (public, I'm assuming, as opposed to home/businesses)?
But you don't have that with ICE cars, so why would you with EVs?
Edit: In fact, thinking about it, you actually do with EVs, if you've got a three-pin plug, because you can just charge it through any mains supply!
Design is subjective, though - I know loads of people who have RAVED about Ioniq 5 and have given it design awards. Hyundai - and Kia - went in one direction and dated to be different with EVs. But with the likes of BMW, Renault and Volkswagen, they are based on existing ICE car designs. Horses...
