I disagree. If England played well but were beaten in a final I do not think many would complain. It's more the limp and lucky way England perform at the moment which is the issue. Anyone with an ounce of football knowledge knows Southgate lucked his way to finals. If England were genuine...

This is what I mean when players have to take responsibility. I’m not convinced Southgate told Kane to be a statue and Rice to not bother looking forward. Not directly or explicitly anyway…maybe it’s his dull negative demeanor and vibes which makes players play like this.

Irrespective of this, England give the ball away too much which is basic and nothing to do with how you set up. The players have to take some responsibility.
