Well, I for one, certainly did. I knew he'd be a fantastic signing, and posted to that effect here many times. I actually thought he'd been brought in the be the new captain (and assumed that Dunk was leaving). He would be an absolutely fantastic captain, by the way.

Veltman is excellent defensively. If he was quicker and better offensively, he wouldn't be at Brighton.

Ben White? He's very, very quick, relative to most centre backs. 'Outstandingly' is probably slightly overstating it (he's not Lamptey!) but yes, yes he is.

Sorry, what!? Remember the young centre back we just sold them? He's probably the quickest centre back in the whole league.
