I feel like there’s some real hints of a return to Doolittle-levels of form on this album - this track certainly wouldn’t have been out of place on it.

Two videos again today but, in my defence, they're the same song. The first is the original recording of Break on Through by The Doors, the second one is how they came up with the song and how it was constructed and recorded, fascinating stuff and way way ahead of their time.

I love looking back at great stuff, but enjoy finding new artists even if they don't always sound that way. Here's a find I really enjoy and heard this today for the first time. Issued in 2016, it could appeal to anyone young or old and sounds a bit like a Nick Lowe production (to my ears) even though it isn't!
