Sami Hyypia wants to add to a few good memories of White Hart Lane, and erase other bad ones when Brighton & Hove Albion face Tottenham Hotspur in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup at the end of next month. The Seagulls boss was a regular visitor to Spurs during his playing days with Liverpool – but he will be taking his side there for the first time as a manager, and says his players should relish the tie.
“At home would have been better, but like I said to the press before, you have to win all the games if you want to win the competition.
“We will go there with a challenge on our hands and we have nothing to lose. Who knows what we will get, but we can make it difficult for Spurs to get into the next round and we will go there to win."

Hyypia added, “I have some good and bad memories there. Most of the time bad, but hopefully we can change that and make those statistics a bit different.“It’s another challenge for us. We will go there to play our game and try to win there as well.”
Albion will also learn in the next day or so if the game is to be selected for live TV coverage, with Sky Sports set to broadcast two live matches.
