I don't think that is our Joao Teixeira. I believe there are 2 players that go by that name and they instead refer to our JT as Joao Carlos ???

I believe you are right. However, the line-ups are also listed on the Portuguese FA website, and it suggets our JCT is also a sub, albeit without a number.

Just realised the game is being played at Turf Moor, so that would explain Burnley's Ings starting ahead of Kane.

Probably something in that theory. However Jake Forster-Caskey still makes the starting XI ahead of Burnley's Chalobah.

JFC has played very nicely, it's an education focussing on him and watching his positional sense and neat ways to keep the ball. His discipline has helped allow freedom for Hughes, Redmond to be creative, but he's picked the odd good pass too.

I hope the bloke behind me in WSU is watching, but somehow I doubt it, and would probably conclude he's "dun nuffing agin".

Frustrating isn't it. One day the penny will drop, probably when he's made a hasty Ashley Barnes'esque exit

Spot on. If you actually watch what he does in a match he has become an important player for us. But he is exactly the type of player who goes unnoticed by your average fan. They'd rather see Paddy play and give the ball away twenty times, but have one good run.
