When flicking around channels, if we catch one with him in we try and guess what nationality he's meant to be.

Eastenders has had some poor actor - Bill Treacher as Arthur Fowler, Nej Adamson as Ali Osman, and his brother Mehmet.

This appraisal of the best James Bond reminds me of the worst: George Lazenby's wooden Bond in a film that otherwise had a lot of qualities. And similarly, there was Andie MacDowell in Four Weddings and a Funeral. Oh, dear.

I think the reality is that a lot of actors are a one trick pony. However, if you just happen to like that trick it's not a problem. One classic example is Clint Eastwood but I really like him. Jim Carrey is all about the faces but he does make films that suit that particular facet of his acting style
